The Del Val Family!

Julissa came in several weeks ago for a family shoot that she'd won on a donation I made to the local Carthage Soroptimist club! Talk about three handsome young boys!

Brett = Happy Baby!

So...Brett came in this past weekend, and I'm telling you, this baby did not stop being happy! I loved it!! Both him and his sister...pure glee! Nothing makes you smile like the happiness of a baby or child!!

Epoch - Recognition Banquet

Tonight was a fun night! I was hired to freelance Epoch's Recognition Banquet, which included taking couples pictures, freelancing the social hour, and then the award presentation! Michelle and the ladies put on a fantastic event for their company...delicious looking food, a little piano music, and a wonderful employee recognition event at the end of the evening!

The cheese cake, while I didn't have a piece, looked AMAZING!

I look forward to their next banquet, and just a forewarning, I may walk off with a piece of that cake!

Emma - One year!!

Emma came in a couple weeks ago for her one year old shoot. She's already standing up!! How exciting! We decided on a little outdoor shoot, and caught a fairly nice afternoon with some flowers in early bloom.

Photoshop Fun!

The other night I went to visit a fellow photographer to discuss business, and he asked one of his previous clients to come in so we could test out his new studio area.

I purchased some new software that allows me to apply makeup/lipstick...and well, color hair! I thought I would share a before and after of one of the shots that I used this new product on. I think it works pretty well!! Also attached are a couple others of mine from that shoot. Enjoy!!

Shauna - Sweet 18

Last fall I shot Shauna's senior pictures, and shortly after was hired to shoot her Sweet 18 Birthday Party! What a fun night! I freelanced most of the evening and then the girls took a limo ride to my studio for a mini fashion shoot!

Amanda - Senior

Amanda came in about a week ago for her senior pictures. Wonderful young lady! We had some seriously awesome weather for this time of year. A little chilly, but, not bad!! Here's a few from the shoot that were pretty rock'n!

Shelby

Shelby is one of my senior models from Carthage, and it'd been a while since we last shot! We figured up it was last summer! Too long!!

Natural Light

I had the pleasure of doing a natural light shoot in my friends home with their nine month old son Hayden! Toddlers are so much more at ease in their own environment...and they had coffee for me! You can't go wrong with coffee!
